We’d be lying if we didn’t admit that the fashion industry had its fair share of egos, and so it’s interviews like this one that feel like a breath of fresh air. It’s not often you stumble upon highly successful individuals that are so down-to-earth as fashion designer Christopher Kane. The Scottish designer, known as fashion’s Willy Wonka, was mentored by Donatella Versace and rose to fame with his sexy neon Lolita-inspired dresses (see them after the jump).
Speaking of his team and himself, he says he’s «always been proud of people,» loves «bad TV,» and that he’s «never been a snob and never will be.» The interview is just one of 10 from the Vogue Voices series, featuring other designers like Alexander Wang, Donatella Versace, Marc Jacbos and Stella McCartney.
